WOMAN CHARGED FOR BITING COPS HANDS!

A 19-year-old Charlottetown, P.E.I., woman faces charges of assaulting an officer after she allegedly bit an officer's hand while being arrested for public intoxication. The alleged biting happened in the early morning of Nov. 9. Officers were called to an address on Norwood Rd. for a disturbance at about 2 a.m., and tried to arrest a 19-year-old woman, police said in a release.

The woman resisted, police said."She became unco-operative and aggressive, kicking and biting at the officers. While trying to get the female under control, one of our officers was bitten in the finger," deputy police chief Gary McGuigan told CBC.The bite didn't require medical attention but it did break the skin, he said.
